Interrupted Love : An Incomplete Love Story

The Result Day

The Misinterpreted Look

Not all love stories have a happy ending. Sometimes, love ends with a story. This story is based on an incident that will blow your mind and offer you a new perspective on love and relationships.

So, this story begins with three boys—Raj, Rahul, and Harsh. They were friends, but their bond and antics were just like brothers. It was the day of the 12th-grade results, and all three were scared out of their wits. Given his past record, Rahul's father had already kept a belt ready to punish him. The three friends checked their results together and headed towards Bittu Bhaiya's shop. The gentle warmth of April, sitting there at Bittu Bhaiya's shop, sipping cold drinks, and making plans to check their results while enjoying the moment.

Bittu Bhaiya was the only one who truly liked them, which is why they spent more time at his shop than at school or home. At Bittu Bhaiya’s shop, there’s no talk of studies or careers—only fun, enjoyment, and pure relaxation. But today, something was different. As soon as they reached Bittu Bhaiya’s shop, Raj asked for coffee instead of a cold drink, and Rahul didn’t even ask, “How are you, Bhaiya?” Bittu Bhaiya had already sensed that this was the tension of results in the air.

Bittu Bhaiya was just about to ask them to sit when Rahul’s phone rang. “It’s my dad,” Rahul said, glancing nervously at the screen. He answered the call.

“Where are you?” his father asked.

“I’m here… why?” Rahul replied cautiously.

“Come home immediately,” his father said sternly.

Rahul rushed home, fear gripping him. He was terrified that his father might have already seen his result. What if his marks were so bad that his father was calling him out of sheer anger?

As soon as Rahul reached home, he saw a crowd gathered outside. It felt strange to him. For a moment, he wondered, could it be that he had topped? And maybe his father had called him home to praise him in front of everyone?
